How about some Christmas ornaments as it's that time of year? They come in four different shapes - snowman, candy cane, stocking and of course a Christmas tree. They are shiny on one side and matte on the other and make a great jingling noise when moved as they each have a snowflake charm. They would be great hung anywhere light can catch them, not just on a tree!
